15 February, 2020Parks, Gardens, and Plazas in Roma-Condesa That You Must Visit
11 September, 2020Enjoying a city can be done through many different activities, but, without a doubt, one of the most appreciated is contemplation. Simply sitting down to feel, see, and inhabit a city is one of the most rewarding activities there is, and of course, in this sense, visiting terraces is a basic way to do the above.
In Mexico City there are many terraces to admire our capital from above, but also to enjoy the best avenues and pedestrian areas. And today, in these times when we need to recover our lives, dreams and our incredible cities, terraces are becoming a very viable alternative to go out, socialize, enjoy and also reactivate the economy in a safe way.
The perfect combination between an enclosed space and an open-air space such as terraces, makes them a great place where coexistence is safer to avoid contagion. Today we present a selection of delicious terraces in CDMX, between some trendy and others more classic, visiting them will make you live CDMX from another perspective.

One of our favorite spots, it's just a few blocks from the hotel. Their seafood is incredibly fresh and delicious. Under rigorous standards, for example, the fish they offer are seasonal in order to respect 'the times of the sea' and fishing is done by hook only, which means it's sustainable fishing. They call it 'Fishing Country Food'. The place is also a large terrace with very high ceilings that give you a super enjoyable feeling of freedom. The deconstructed pie is finger-licking good!

MEROMA
Meroma is a gem, there is no better way to describe this place. This wonderful restaurant is made with love. Born in 2016, it is a project by Gina Casar and chefs Mercedes Bernal and Rodney Cusic. The cuisine of this place is exceptional as it offers products that are both sustainable and representative of their surroundings. Designed by OPA. And the cocktails seem to be a time machine that takes you back to the golden age of cocktails, simply unmissable!

It is another of the jewels of the 'very' heart of the Historic Center and has without a doubt one of the best views of the city. Here you will appreciate the towers of the Metropolitan Cathedral in an exquisite way and the Zócalo, probably, like nowhere else. Their seafood is very rich, light and very Mexicanized. Apart from that, they harvest their own ingredients in the garden on the terrace. An excellent space to contemplate the city at its point of origin.

POLANCO COLONY
THE ONLY ONE
The food here, both from the sea and the land, is an absolute delight and the decoration in the different rooms of this place is very beautiful. But its terrace is perhaps the best. With its roof with vines and a view of the trees and flowerbeds, the stay here is super pleasant.
